The marina boasts a wealth of bars and restaurants, and features a pleasure boat and a ferry that takes you to Santiago de la Ribera on the far side of the Mar Menor. From this location there is a choice of the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor and its beaches or the Mediterranean beaches, both of which are just a 100 yard walk away.

There is a commercial centre along the entrance to the marina with shops, supermarket, banks and the marina itself is surrounded with small bars and excellent restaurants.
