Polaris World - updates on individual resorts

Following our recent visit to Spain, we have the following updates. As usual the photos are now listed on our dedicated Polaris World website .

Mar Menor Golf Resort
Work is continuing here putting in the infrastructure – no cranes yet though. They are also in the process of building a traffic island on the main road which will improve access to the resort. While there this time we did find it quite difficult to find good locations on MMGR II for the apartments surrounding the lake, so for those of you who have already bought here well done!

La Torre Golf Resort
Work is continuing apace on the resort centre with several of the apartment properties being finished off in their colourful design. The convention centre next to the golf club is also taking shape.

El Valle Golf Resort
It is very difficult stil to access the site but we were lucky this time. The course is starting to take shape and may be playable by the summer. We were fortunate to be shown into one of the medium sized front line villas and were impressed by the level of finish as well as the physical size particularly in the lounge with it’s high ceiling (however the price of this property was over 700,000 Euros so you would expect quite a bit for this).

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort
This is a hive of activity at the moment with apartments in every stage of construction and parts of the golf course coming to life as well. I have attached a few photos. Polaris are stating that the first properties will be signed over in the summer (I would say probably late summer).

La Loma Golf Resort and Sports Centre
The ground is starting to be cleared here so we expect infrastructure work to start here quite soon

Las Terrazas de la Torre Golf Resort
Polaris are waiting for one final signature at the town hall for this resort and will be starting work very soon. There was a new model showing the entire resort in the Polaris World offices which really does chow the scale of this project and the size of the resort centre.

Condado De Alhama Golf Resort
As mentioned last week, work has now started at Condado de Alhama which is great news for Polaris.

Beach Clubs
We have been informed by Polaris that there will be 2 beach clubs. One for the Orillas del Mar Menor group of resorts (Mar Menor, La Torre, El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme, La Loma and Las Terrazas golf resorts) which will be located at the tip of the La Manga Strip and will be reached by private ferry. The other will be located in the Puerto Mazarron area and will be for Condado de Alhama Resort. This is as much information as we have at the moment and the people at the Polaris HQ in Spain don’t have any more info, so more as we receive it.
