It has been designated a provincial park and is ideal for walkers, mountain bikers, horse riding and even mountaineering. Entrance to the park is past the small medieval village of Aledo with it’s Moorish tower and recently restored church. This area is much sought after as it offers a great variety, within a half hours drive is the Mediterranean coast, beautiful mountain scenery and also the regional capitol of Murcia, renowned for it’s wealth of fine buildings and excellent shopping area.

Sol Mar y Natura is easily accessible, being one and a quarter hours drive from either Alicante or Murcia (San Javier) airports (motorway all the way to Totana). The new Murcia International airport (Corvera) will be a 45 minute drive when complete in late 2010 and we feel will be instrumental in opening up this region. At the moment this is the only new development in the area as permissions to build adjacent to the park are diificult to obtain.
