All of the properties on the resort will be built no higher than 3 stories and the development is on a huge site of 2,000,000sqm (around 500 acres) of which only 30% will be built upon. The developer will be planting 20,000 trees into the resort thus maintaining it’s country feel.

Monte Aledo Resort is located close to the medieval village of Aledo and adjacent to the Sierra Espuna Regional park – a beautiful protected area of the Region of Murcia. Totana is the nearest town and is just a 5-10 minute drive. Totana is famous for it’s ceramics and has a large market every Wednesday. The village of Aledo is on a rocky promontory which juts out into the valley and is dominated by the Moorish tower (pretty much all that remains of the castle) and the church both of which are floodlit at night.

The beach at Bolnuevo or Puerto Mazarron is around 35 minutes away from Monte Aledo Resort, though this road is currently being improved to dual carriageway which will reduce travel times considerably. There are currently 2 airports both of which have low cost airlines operating into them Murcia airport (San Javier) – 45-50 minutes drive and Alicante (1hr drive), but there will also be the new Murcia International airport open at Corvera when these properties come on stream, which will bring airport transfers down to around 35-40 minutes.

We feel that this development has an excellent investment and holiday let potential. Monte Aledo Resort will be the first Centre Parc style development in Spain and not only that, it will be in a beautiful location.
