La Manga del Mar Menor - About the area
La Manga del Mar Menor - also known as the La Manga Strip - is a narrow strip of land dividing the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor (small sea) which is the largest lagoon in Europe. It has been the holiday destination of choice by the Spanish for many years and has only recently been "discovered by northern Europeans. It's sandy beaches on both sides and a choice of 2 seas has made La Manga a very desirable location for a holiday property, as it is now the only location in the Mediterranan where you can buy a new true beachfront property. La Manga Strip Property
As you can see above we have a variety of Spanish property for sale in La Manga - particularly beachfront property. The ability to buy a beachfront property at affordable prices makes the La Manga Strip an excellent choice. The La Manga Strip is a unique location and one of the last locations where you can legally buy a true beachfront property in Europe (due to it’s very narrow nature it has special planning rules). Our selected Spanish properties listed above have unobstructed views straight out to the Mediterranean Sea, right on the beach, other properties have beautiful views across the Mar Menor or over the largest Marina on the Costa Calida (Tomas Maestre Marina).

Your investment is secure when buying off plan with us – this is because we always insist that the developer offers a bank guarantee, this ensures that your investment is safe. Where possible we also negotiate the best payment terms for our clients.

Though there are many apartments for sale in Spain, buying similar properties to the above apartments in La Manga – with guaranteed PERMANENT views of either the sea or marina - is getting much more difficult. We estimate that all of the available beachfront property on the La Manga Strip will probably be sold in about 5 years. Following this, the Costa Calida property for sale will either be away from the beach or resale properties (for a price). The region of Murcia are allocating a large proportion of their coastline as regional parks with no building allowed so beachfront property in Costa Calida in the future will obviously be at a premium. The Spanish investors know this, that is why properties are still selling so fast here.

Though there are many developments on the La Manga Strip, we cherry pick which developers we have on our books. We are often asked to market developer’s properties but not all of the developers meet our strict standards of build quality and items such as Bank Guarantees for our clients.
