Veneziola Golf - The Area
Veneziola Golf II is located near the tip of La Manga del Mar Menor, in an area of the La Manga Strip which has all the potential to become a true 5 star area. It is the last area of the La Manga Strip to be developed and already has a 9 hole golf course, several restaurants and bars and a couple of small supermarkets all within walking distance. Veneziola Golf is situated directly on the Mediterranean Beach and there is a large beach on the Mar Menor 500 yards away on the other side of the “strip”. On the other side of the road from this development is an area that is reserved for large detached villas with private moorings for their own boat at the bottom of the garden. Several of these villas are already built at prices upwards of one million euros, so as you can see, this is an up and coming area of the La Manga Strip. Veneziola Golf - Access
Veneziola Golf is 40 minutes easy drive from the local airport of Murcia (San Javier) which is presently served by many low cost airlines from throughout the UK. Alicante airport is a 1hour 20 minute easy drive and the regional government are building a new international airport to serve the region of Murcia at Corvera which, when complete at the end of 2010 will be a 35-40minute drive and will encourage more flights and overseas tourists to the area. When at La Manga, there is a half hourly bus service that travels the length of the La Manga Strip visiting all points of interest such as the largest marina in the region at Tomas Maestre right down to the original fishing village of Cabo de Palos at the start of the “strip”.
