He has designed such prestigious and internationally recognised courses as Puerta de Hierro, Madrid (Spain), The Links at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, California (USA), Penha Longa Golf Club, Lisbon (Portugal), Le Prince de Provence Golf Club, Vidauban (France) and Santa Elena Golf Club, Laguna (Philippines). Robert Trent Jones jr is continuing his father’s work and has an exceptional team of experts backed by over 100 years of experience in golf course design having designed more than 200 courses in 35 countries across the world’s 5 continents. Novo Carthago will become one of the most exclusive golf and beach resorts anywhere on the Spanish coast. The golf courses alone will cover over 800,000sqm at Novo Carthago.

Novo Carthago - Residencial La Isla
This is the first phase of properties to be released and is set on an island surrounded by lakes with stunning views over the golf course.

Apartments
With a maximum height of 3 stories there are a selection of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom properties. These are arranged in horseshoe shaped buildings which afford everyone a view of the course. Underground parking and a storage area (for golf clubs or bikes etc) is included. There are several communal pools for each set of apartments.

Townhouses

Novo Carthago is in a privileged position with motorway links to the local airport of Murcia (San Javier) 10 minutes away. Murcia airport is served by several low cost airlines from a wide variety of locations in the UK and Ireland. 1 hour motorway drive is Alicante airport which is served by almost any airline from the UK. There will also be a new Murcia international airport opening in 2010 located inland 10 minutes from Novo Carthago.

Just 10 minutes drive away is the city of Cartagena from which Novo Carthago Golf Resort gains it’s name (the ancient name for Cartagena). Cartagena is a fascinating place to explore with good shopping many museums and a newly developed waterfront. A city before the Romans, it is steeped in history and you won’t want to miss the spectacular Roman Fiesta held every September. Murcia city is 30 minutes drive inland and is a bustling city also known as the baroque capital of Spain due to it’s wealth of monuments and fine buildings.
